Dudley Willingsworth - The Feast

Wimbledon College of Art

November - January 2024/25

In a collaboration with the Technical Arts and Theatre Design students at Wimbledon College of Arts, we were tasked to create an installation of a feast that represented overconsumption. Myself, Nina Charman and Emili Hill worked in a small group developing the character of Dudley Willingsworth; a wealthy bearded dragon who hunts for sport. The costume was designed with the hunting silhouette in mind and tailored to fit a body we soft sculpted to reflect an old rich man. The head was sculpted, cast and painted by the Tech Arts students Nina Charman and Emili Hill. The costume was cut, toiled, tailored and finished by myself.
